Front-end frameworks let you hit the ground running when developing a new website. Due to their popularity, a wide array of front-end frameworks are available, and new ones emerge on a regular basis. JavaScript popularity continues its rising. In 2016 Angular had an entire upgrade and introduction of Angular 2, witnessed the evolution of ECMAScript, two updates of Node.js in April and October accordingly, and more. It is imperative that as a developer you should keep track of everything which is new and be updated with the latest trends of 2017.

The variety of frameworks for each development platform is huge. It’s impossible to describe all of them and is, probably, not necessary too.

Rails is a web application framework running on the Ruby general purpose programming language. Ruby on rails differs from the rest of the list but is the popular web framework of the Ruby language and it's used by many big companies like Github, Airbnb, Spotify, Shopify and others.

Frameworks are essential for most of the functions and enterprise applications however there are a lot of factors to consider before choosing a framework such as stability, resource availability and popularity. As developers, we should be always ready to learn and experiment with frameworks that are new and trending in the market so that we can keep up with the pace of the new technology and move forward.
